The composition of this route consists of parts of the old public roads, which were used in the past by the inhabitants of the wider area.
In its development it has provided an excellent stitching of forest paths, thus linking 4 villages in the southern part of the prefecture of Evritania.
The layout of the daily hiking section aims to go from Domnista to Roska and vice versa, by paths avoiding roads.
The geomorphology of the area is elaborately peculiar, with steep slopes and verdant hillsides that descend to the Krikellopotamos, the dominant river of the area.
In a sense, we could say that we are following the formation of the river, from a distance and on vertical slopes or forested ridges.
Characteristic of the route and of the Prefecture of Evritania in general are the stone-built donkey paths, which form horizontal traverses of two-way movement on the steep rocky slopes.
The views of the fir-studded Evrytania are inexhaustible with the predominant colours being the blue of the sky and the green of the dense forest.
Water is hard to come by along the stretch of the route with the exception of the village squares, but with the right water container and good management you will not go thirsty.
