Despite mandatory breaks due to harsh winter weather in December, January, and March, significant progress has been made on the creation of a 90 km single path from Delphi to Amfissa, Viniani, Gionas, Sykia, Ath. Diakos, and Artotina since June of last year.
This achievement is largely owing to the tireless efforts of the Terra team, the support of the Delphi Municipality, and the contributions of dozens of dedicated volunteers. Working through low-altitude, peri-urban, and forested areas, passability has been significantly improved along 42% of the 90 km route approved for the project.
During the first phase of the project, we focused on connecting settlements that will soon become overnight stations along the route. We also carried out minor interventions and added markings to improve passability in areas at higher altitudes - for example, Reka, the Giona highlands, and Vardousia .
